Book Preview: What Your Book Actually Looks Like
Preview in three formats: print book (true to your trim's aspect ratio), e-reader (flowing, like Kindle), and editorial manuscript (double-spaced monospace). Print and manuscript previews are genuinely paginated. Click any paragraph to spot-edit.

Why this is hard
Long manuscripts have problems that short documents do not.
You cannot tell what your book will look like as a printed book or on a Kindle by looking at a web editor. You need to see it in context.
Real pagination requires measuring text and packing it into fixed-size pages. Most preview tools just show a continuous scroll, which tells you nothing about page breaks, gutter margins, or how chapters open.
Preview in three formats. Print book is true to your trim's aspect ratio with genuine pagination: text is measured and packed into fixed-size pages, chapters open on fresh pages, front matter is separate, the table of contents has dot leaders and computed page numbers, and folios sit at the bottom. E-reader is flowing, like Kindle. Manuscript is double-spaced monospace on US Letter. Click any paragraph to spot-edit it right in the preview. Full-window mode fills your screen and scales pages up while keeping exact proportions.
You choose the format. You can spot-edit any paragraph. You can enter full-window mode. Changes save as new chapter versions.
